Olivier's named Restaurant of the Year
The Woburn Hotel stole the night at the recent Milton Keynes Food and Leisure Awards.
More than 200 people gathered on 11th May to celebrate Milton Keynes’ most prestigious places to eat, drink and socialise.
Now in its third year, MK Food and Leisure Awards honoured the best restaurants, pubs, hotels, chefs, gyms and destinations in the city. On Sunday, the chef, restaurant and dish of the year was announced, with The Woburn Hotel walking away with three awards.
Olivier’s in Woburn was named Restaurant of the Year, Olivier Bertho, our Executive Chef, secured third place in the Chef of the Year category and The Woburn Hotel won Hotel of the Year in the over 50 rooms category.
There was also a silent auction and raffle, which raised nearly £2,000 for the Milton Keynes Food Bank.
Awards founder, Steven Dryden-Hall, said: "Congratulations not only to all the winners of awards but to everyone who took part and attended the event.
"It is lovely to see passionate, hard working people come together and celebrate all that’s great in Milton Keynes.
"Together we raised just under £2,000 for the Milton Keynes Food Bank charity, which makes me a proud man.
"We are looking forward to the Awards next May already."
