The Tavistock Bar
The Tavistock bar offers an informal setting to enjoy our cask-conditioned ales and a superb choice of wines.
The Tavistock Bar named in honour of the Marquess of Tavistock, a title held by the Dukes of Bedford, in many ways most closely reflects the history of The Woburn Hotel, a coaching inn and tavern in the 18th century. With its blackened wooden beams, The Tavistock Bar is full of character and includes a collection of cartoons by Jak, Giles and Reg Smythe, which create much amusement amongst guests.
The Woburn Hotel is a popular haunt for hotel guests and local residents. Cosy and unassuming, guests are invited to make the most of its informal surroundings for pre dinner drinks before dining in our award winning restaurant, Olivier’s or for a night cap. Alternatively, you can visit The Tavistock Bar during the day for lunch or for afternoon tea with friends.
We welcome non residents and guests from 11.00am through to 11.00pm.
